............The Buddhaisawan Chapel is the house of the Buddha image namely Phra Bhuddhasihing. The interior of thechapel was elaborately decorated. The upper register of the chapel depicts the celestial assembly while the lower one between the windows depicts 28 scenes of the life of the Buddha from his birth till his Parinippan. The murals were executed in the First Reign which is considered the most valuable and oldest painting of the Rattanakosin period. The present condition of the murals is dilapidated due to old age.
